A simple and quick Keto recipe to whip up is a slight variation of the Cauliflower cheese bake… a Cauliflower Cheese Bake with an Indian Curry flavour twist. By adding coconutmilk and Indian spices we make this dish a little more exotic then its original.

 

You can use this Keto Cauliflower Cheese Bake recipe as a main dish or as a side dish when you cook for a bigger group.

You can replace the Mozzarella cheese for another type of cheese, but we do recommend using either Parmesan or Grana Padano, to give the dish even more flavour.

And for the vegans among us, you can just replace the Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese with a vegan cheese variant of your liking.

Just follow the following 4 simple steps to make this Indian Style Cauliflower Cheese recipe:

 

  1. Clean, cut and boil the cauliflower
  2. Add seasoning and coconut milk
  3. Transfer to an oven tray and add the cheese
  4. Bake for 10/15 minutes

Macros Keto Cauliflower Cheese Bake Indian style

1. Clean, cut and boil the cauliflower

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius/375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wash the cauliflower, before cutting the head of the cauliflower into little pieces. Boil the cauliflower for about 15 minutes in slightly salted water.

When ready, drain the water from the pan. 

 

2. Add seasoning and coconut milk

Now we will add the following herbs to the cauliflower: indian curry herbs, cumin, paprika, curcuma, black grounded pepper, Himalayan salt and a bit of cayenne pepper.

 

Then add a can of coconut milk to the pan. Boil the cauliflower in the coconut curry for about 20 to 30 minutes until a bit soft.

3. Transfer to an oven tray and add the cheese

Add the mixture to an oven tray that has been greased with a bit of olive oil.

Then add grated mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on the top.

4. Bake for 10 / 15 minutes

Bake the dish in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Now your quick and easy Keto Indian Cauliflower Cheese bake is ready to eat!

  • 1 unit cauliflower medium size
  • 400 ml / 1 can of coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tbsp black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 tbsp salt to taste
