We calculated about 16 slices of pecan pie, because pecan pie fills easily. So, each slice will be more than enough to satisfy your sweet cravings! However, you can also have 10 or 12 portions, depending on how big of piece of pie you want. And all this pecan goodness only contains about 126 Kcal per slice.

Step by step instructions

Here is a step by step instruction on how to prepare this amazing Keto Pecan Pie.

1. Prepare the pie crust

First of all, we will prepare the Pie crust. Preheat your oven to 175C/350F. Then line a 9in pie tin with parchment paper and set aside.

 

In a bowl, first mix the dry ingredients for the Pecan Pie Crust. Put together the almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, pecans, xanthan gum, and baking powder.

 

Next, mix all dry ingredients together very well to avoid any lumps later on. 

 

Finally, add the wet ingredients for the crust. Add the butter, the vanilla extract, and eggs and mix well.

When your mixture is smooth, spoon it into the base of your prepared pan and spread out evenly. Bake the pie crust in the oven for about 12 – 15 minutes until golden brown.

2. Create the pie filling

In a mixing bowl, put together the ingredients for the filling. The filling is super easy to make. Start with the eggs,  then add the erythritol and mix well.

 

When your mixture is smooth, add in the Keto maple syrup slowly. When that’s done, also add melted butter, and vanilla. 

 

The next step is to mix all these ingredients together, until well combined. It is easiest to use a fork to mix because the mixture will easily blend.

3. Fill the pecan pie crust with the filling

To fill that beautiful crust, just spread the roughly chopped pecans for the filling over the semi-cooked crust. 

Once all pecans are evenly divided, pour the filling mixture over the pecans. The filling should have a thin texture, comparable to pancake batter.

4. Bake the Keto Pecan Pie

When the crust is filled, bake for 25 – 30 minutes until the topping is set and firmed up. Leave to cool in the pie tin for about 20 – 30 minutes outside the oven.

  • ⅓ cup / 65 grams Erythritol
  • ⅓ cup / 105 grams Sugar-Free Maple Syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Salted Butter - melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1 ½ cups / 163 grams Pecans - roughly chopped

Instructions
